Scenes from the Brampton Show 2009

Each year the Club collects for a local charity, in 2009 we are collecting for the Cambridgeshire Air Ambulance.

At the 2009 show through teh tombola and sale of magazines we raised over £200 for the Air Ambulance.

In 2005 the Club raised £150 for Huntingdon Cruse at the show, in 2006 we raised £169, which with some extra donations meant we were able to donate £200 to the Alzheimers Society. In 2007 we collected for the RNLI (in the hope they will install a lifeboat on the Ouse :)

Competition
Sports and Fashions Model Shop of Huntingdon sponsored and judged a trophy for the best display at the show
For the second year running the trophy was awarded to Peterborough Model Club. Again the dioramas impressed the judge - though it was a different person judging this year. Runner-up was the Bedford & District Model Club.
